The centre's had to close due to the coronavirus outbreak, but their animals still need looking after.

The Wilton site say they're likely to suffer a drop in money coming in to them, as fundraising events are cancelled and their riding therapy sessions for disabled people can't go ahead.

But despite that, there's still 16 horses and ponies at the centre that need to be fed and cared for in the meantime.

The charity's set up a crowdfunding campaign to raise enough to keep them going while they're temporarily closed.

The Wilton RDA centre gives disabled a chance to try riding, often with incredible results

They're looking to raise £14,000 for their costs over the next little while, and they've been setting out how we could help:

  • Instead of 2 coffees at work, why not buy a bale of hay for £5
  • Instead of a trip to the cinema, £25 will buy a sack of supplementary feed
  • Instead of going out for dinner, £50 will pay for the farrier for a pony

The appeal's raised over £1,000 so far.
