Katie Hyland wanted to do her bit for NHS workers in light of the Covid -19 outbreak.

The South Wilts Grammar School pupil knows only too well just how important staff at our District Hospital are, as her mum is a cardiac specialist nurse there.

Seeing the impact across the country on the coronavirus crisis it's prompted Katie to pen this moving poem.

With the government keeping classrooms open for children of those in key jobs, Katie will be attending school.

She told Spire FM it's a difficult time.
