COVID-19: Hampshire exceeds 300 cases, as Wiltshire figure rises again

The latest figures from Public Health England have been released.

The data, correct as of 9am today (25th March) reveal Hampshire has seen additional 51 cases bringing the total in the county to 315 .

The figures are broken down as follows,

  • Hampshire County Council - 251
  • Southampton City Council - 28 
  • Portsmouth City Council - 23 
  • Isle of Wight Council - 3

WILTSHIRE

There number of cases of Covid-19 in Wiltshire Council has increased by six to 47..

  • Wiltshire County Council -39
  • Swindon Borough Council - 8
Coronavirus
Both Wiltshire and Hampshire have  seen a rise in diagnosed cases again.

UK DEATHS:

The number of people who have died in the UK after contracting Covid-19 has risen by 43 to 465.

That's the smallest rise in the number of deaths since 17 March - more than a week ago.

The number of people across the UK diagnosed with the infection is now 9,529.
