It was spotted by an off-duty officer, with the driver now reported to court.

The Renault Clio was noticed last night (Wednesday 25th March)as a small child was seen climbing around the inside of the car while it was being 'driven erratically'.

On-duty officers from Amesbury stopped the vehicle on Boscombe Road.

They found the car was also not insured, and seized it.

The driver's been reported to court for driving without insurance and driving with a child unrestrained.

PC Blake said:

"This goes to show that despite what is going on around the world at the moment, we are still out and about targeting offenders. This driver showed no regard for the safety of his passengers or any other vehicle that was travelling on the road."
