It's been set up by the City Council and Wessex Community Action to help people during Covid-19.

The scheme's now looking for volunteers to sign up to provide support to others who might need it within Salisbury at this time.

People are needed for tasks like picking up shopping for people who are isolating, or are in the high risk groups advised to stay at home; dog walking; or even being a listening ear for someone over the phone.

An online register is being set up for people to offer their help, but also for those that might need support.

Wessex Community Action (WCA) and Salisbury City Council would then match people up based on what's needed.
