COVID-19: Hampshire sees 33 new cases, 7 more in Wiltshire

The latest figures from Public Health England have been released.

The figures published this evening (26th March) show Hampshire has 348 diagnosed cases of Covid-19.

The figures are broken down as follows,

  • Hampshire County Council - 267
  • Southampton City Council - 32
  • Portsmouth City Council - 42 
  • Isle of Wight Council - 7


There number of cases of Covid-19 in Wiltshire Council now stands at 54..

  • Wiltshire County Council -43
  • Swindon Borough Council - 11
Both Wiltshire and Hampshire have  seen a rise in diagnosed cases again.


578 people in the UK have died after contracting Covid-19.

That's an increase of more than 100 in one day.

135 people have recovered.

The total number of people across the UK diagnosed with the infection is now 11,658.
