Public Health England have been released the latest stats.

WILTSHIRE:

The figures published this evening (28th March) show there are now 76 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the county..

The figures for the county are broken down by local authority as follows. 

  • Wiltshire County Council -58
  • Swindon Borough Council - 18

HAMPSHIRE:

Meanwhile the number of cases in the last 24 hours has risen from 412 to 499.

The figures are broken down as follows,

  • Hampshire County Council - 384
  • Southampton City Council - 41
  • Portsmouth City Council - 64 
  • Isle of Wight Council - 10

Hampshire heads towards the 500 milestone as Wiltshire sees another steady rise.

UK DEATHS HIT BIG MILESTONE:

The death toll in the UK now stands at 1,019.

260 people have died in the last 24 hours 

The number of people that have recovered remains at 135 people

The total number of people across the UK diagnosed with the infection is now 17,089

No details of the number of people tested in each local are released.
