Three more patients with Covid-19 die at Salisbury District Hospital

The latest confirmations take the total number of deaths at our NHS Trust to five.

The three men were aged in their 70s and 80s, and passed away over three days.

In a statement, the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has said:

"Sadly three additional patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 have died at Salisbury District Hospital.

"A man in his seventies died at Salisbury District Hospital on Saturday 28th March.

"A man in his seventies, who had underlying health conditions, died at Salisbury District Hospital on Sunday 29th March.

"A man in his eighties, who had underlying health conditions, died at Salisbury District Hospital on Monday 30th March.

"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patients family and friends at this difficult and distressing time."

There have now been five deaths at SDH of patients with coronavirus.

A woman in her 80s passed away on 25th March.

A man in his 50s, with underlying health conditions, passed away on March 11th.
