The delivery office on Fisherton Street will have shortened hours until further notice.

Royal Mail has put the changes in place from today (Monday 6th April), to minimise public contact during the coronavirus pandemic.

The updated opening hours are as follows:

  • Monday: 7.00am to 11.00am
  • Tuesday: 7.00am to 11.00am
  • Wednesday: CLOSED
  • Thursday: 7.00am to 11.00am
  • Friday: 7.00am to 11.00am
  • Saturday: 7.00am to 11.00am
  • Sunday: CLOSED
The customer service point is around the side of the Fisherton Street sorting office

The length of time that parcels are being kept at the delivery office is also being extended from today.

They'll be safety stored at the Salisbury office for 30 days before being returned to the sender.

The changes won't affect normal postal services, as the sorting office on site is working as usual.
