The NHS Foundation Trust has confirmed that 17 people have now passed away at the Trust, having tested positive.

Details have been released of two men who died on Sunday 5th April and one woman who died on Monday 6th April.

All of them had underlying health conditions.

A spokesperson for the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said:

In England, latest figures from the Department of Health (as of 5.00pm Tuesday 7th April) show that there have been a total of 6,159 people who have died in hospitals, having tested positive for Covid-19.

Those numbers do not include people who may have passed away at home or in care homes.

We don't know full recovery figures on a local or national scale.
