Stephanie Arlott and Neil Hopkins created the original tune at home during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The pair, who are part of Wiltshire covers band Catch 22, say the song took them three days to make from start to finish.

They wanted to make something to show their support for the frontline healthcare workers dealing with the coronavirus outbreak.

It's called Save the Day, with Neil writing the piano part and Stephanie helping to write the lyrics.

Their musical background means they have recording equipment at home, with the video filmed in their garden.

Here's the song in full:

Neil and Stephanie say they wanted to something, in the best way they know how, to pay tribute to those working so hard.

Stephanie told Spire FM:

"The feedback has been great, we have brought people to tears, which is absolutely amazing! The song has been shared by family, friends and neighbours and has even reached Australia and Canada. We never thought it would get this much love, but we are so thankful that we can send a thanks to all the amazing NHS staff and key workers in this way."
