He's already climbed the equivalent of Mount Everest now Carl Orme has a new running challenge.

Carl will try to run a marathon up and down his 13 metre driveway today (19th April).

In order to cover the official marathon distance of 26.2 miles (42,195 metres) Carl has worked out he will need to run the length of his drive 3,246 times.

Carl's challenge will be a bit repetitive but he's ready to take it on!

Carl, who set himself a challenge to run 20 marathons in 2020 to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, has had to think outside the box due to the Covid -19 pandemic.

"I should have been running Brighton and London Marathons this month as part of my 20 Marathon challenge. With so many postponements, my Autumn is filling fast - I've 5 marathons over 6 weeks in 4 countries to do! So I figured this was safe, adhered to the stay at home rules and again allowed me to hopefully raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer and encourage others to do something too."

Last week Carl tackled the equivalent of climbing to the summit of Mount Everest using the stairs in his home in Durrington.

It took him four days to reach the 8,484 metre summit and he climbed the flight of stairs a whopping 3,403 times.

Here's the moment he achieve that!

Carl is raising money in support of Breast Cancer Now after nearly losing his mum twice to "this awful disease."
