The award winning group are trying to keep spirits up with a socially distant performance!

The Band, which has been going for nearly 150 years, isn't letting the coronavirus outbreak stop them from making music, and sharing their skills with us too.

The outbreak means they've had to take their weekly meetings online, and the results are still pretty good!

The members each recorded their own parts of 'Liberty Bell', which is part of their normal repertoire, from home.

Their conductor Dr Robert Childs came up with a special arrangement for the players to get stuck into.

That's then been painstakingly edited together over two weeks to create the full song.

The group would normally have a busy summer of events and competitions ahead of them, so are using this kind of activity as an extra form of practice.
