Signs Express say they wanted to help show support to the "incredible" NHS workers and raise money for the Stars Appeal.

The company, based at Solstice Park, have created a sticker for people to show their support and to raise funds for Salisbury District Hospital's charity.

Rod Clark from Signs Express explains

"Due to the current COVID-19 situation many charities have had to cancel many of their major summer events where a lot of fundraising opportunies take place. The Stars Appeal Charity has been hit even harder as a lot of their donations are made from visitors passing through Salisbury District Hospital so we thought we could maybe help in some small way to close that funding gap with your support."

HOW TO GET A STICKER

The company are asking for a donation, suggesting £5 as fair, via their JustGiving page.

You'll then need to email salisbury@signs-express.co.uk with your name and address and you'll be sent one of the Stars Appeal NHS Heroes stickers

Stickers and postage costs are all covered by Signs Express so 100% of your donation goes directly to the Stars Appeal.

Salisbury Hospital Eye Surgeon and Stars Appeal Ambassador Mr Roger Humphry said

'We are all so grateful for the wonderful support we are receiving from the local community at this challenging time. These stickers are not only a lovely example of this, but also an important fundraising initiative for our charity, the Stars Appeal, who are providing so much support  for both staff like me and our patients in Salisbury. Thank you to Signs Express and everyone who is showing their support"

T SHIRTS FOR NHS HEROES

Meanwhile a couple from Porton are selling T-shirts to raise money for NHS Charities Together

Georgina Haviland and Lewis Smith have raised over £300 already by donating profits from the sale of the clothing.

The pair told Spire FM.

"We are both very grateful to the NHS staff working tirelessly against the outbreak. The T-Shirts would be a great way for the public to show their support and raise money towards NHS Charities Together."
