Britains Got Talent star pays tribute to Salisbury's NHS heroes

Damon Scott has recorded a video in support of Salisbury District Hospital and the Stars Appeal.

The entertainer, who appeared on the first series of the talent show, has thanked the staff at Salisbury District Hospital for their hard work.

Damon grew up in Salisbury and has performed across the city on multiple occasions. 

He finished runner up of Britain's Got Talent, alongside some helpful puppets.

Here's his message:

A number of celebrities have been showing their support for the Stars Appeal in recent weeks, including film director Guy Ritchie, former racing driver Tiff Needell and Oscar winning actress Olivia Colman

The Stars Appeal is currently raising money for a coronavirus fund, to provide treats for staff at Salisbury District Hospital who are working so hard during the Covid-19 crisis, and make patient stays as comfortable as possible. 

The fund has already raised over £70,000, with the money being put to good use:
