During three days last week, Hopback Brewery decided to allow NHS and emergency service staff to collect free beer.

They ended up giving away 121 carry outs of beer, which amounts to 484 pints

So they have decided to carry that on this week while stocks last.

Anyone over 18, who has ID to prove they work for an emergency service, can come and collect some from the brewery in Downton.

A spokesperson for Hopback Brewery, said:

"It was so lovely to speak to front line staff, from ICU doctors, Nurses, Pathology staff, GP surgery staff, Ambulance drivers, Procurement personnel and Fireman, to name a few,  their stories were inspirational. We were truly humbled.

As this has been a success so far and everyone has been so grateful for this small gesture, we have decided to carry on with it this week while stocks last."
