Clap For Carers Week 8: Salisbury appreciates keyworkers once again

A projection onto the Guildhall has been among the support shown for NHS staff on the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The #ClapForOurCarers initiative started on 26th March and since then, has happened every Thursday at 8.00pm.

People have been getting out onto their doorsteps, into gardens and out of their windows to make some noise for those people working so hard during the crisis.

This week's recognition (Thursday 14th May) has included light being show onto Salisbury Guildhall.

The City Council has been working with Peachy Productions on the projections, and this one comes a few days after a similar idea to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day:
