Power cut affecting Fordingbridge area

Problems with the electricity supplies have been reported this morning (Friday 22nd May).

The outage was caused by a tree falling on some overhead power cables on Hale Hill in Woodgreen at 8.00am.

It affected more than 23o customers across 22 postcodes in the Landford, Woodgreen, Hale and Fordingbridge areas.

Engineers have been working to restore the power in the Woodgreen, Hale and Fordingbridge area

On site engineers have dealing with the tree and getting supplies reconnected.

SSEN tell us all the power supplies have now been restored (as of 1.45pm).
