The Stars Appeal fundraiser won't be taking place there due to Covid 19 restrictions but organisers are asking people to walk 'wherever you are' on 5th July.

Walk for Wards is one of those events that is looked forward to by so many, last year 2,000 people took part raising £105,000 for a variety of wards and departments at Salisbury District Hospital.

The coronavirus pandemic may have put paid to taking on the 3k. 5k or 10k in the grounds of the Wilton Estate but organisers hope people will tackle one of those distances from home or wherever is suitable.

"Although we can’t all be together in person, everyone who Walks for Wards on Sunday 5th July will be part of a huge team effort, raising money to enable the Stars Appeal to fund projects helping both patients and staff at Salisbury Hospital. We hope you will join in."
