Simon Ward has now raised more than £2,100 for Julia's House children's hospice and the Stars Appeal during lockdown.

Simon's been taking portraits of families outside their homes as a way of supporting local causes, but also a way of documenting what the Covid-19 pandemic has been like for households.

He's been running the campaign early in the lockdown, combining it with his role as a temporary delivery driver for Tesco.

96 families and businesses have taken part so far.

The photos taken, in return for a charity donation, have raised over £2,100 so far, with more money expected to come in.

Simon even managed to get some celebrity involvement, with Julia's House patron, Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra having their own Doorstep Snap taken at the home in Sandbanks, Dorset.

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END

While the campaign has been a huge success for Simon, he's set himself an end date of Sunday 13th July for the project to finish.

That will be two months since he started, and still gives us a bit of time to get involved.

Simon's aiming to reach well over a hundred households before his end date, and raise as much money as possible for two causes close to his heart.

He's been an official volunteer photographer for both Julia's House children's hospice and the Stars Appeal for a number of years.
