COVID-19: No deaths at Salisbury District Hospital for over a week

Saturday 13th June was the last time a patient, who had tested positive, for the virus passed away there.

The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has confirmed that there have now been 8 days without a Covid-19 related death at Salisbury District Hospital.

The total number of fatalities there remains at 56

NATIONAL FIGURES:

A further 15 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died in all settings across the UK

It brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths to 42,647.

CASES IN THE LOCAL AUTHORITY I LIVE IN:

As of 4pm yesterday (21st June) the number of confirmed cases for the following local authorities covering South Wiltshire and West Hampshire are:

  • Wiltshire Council - 545
  • Test Valley Borough Council -309
  • New Forest District Council -286
