Since it was set up at the end of March the hub, based at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre in Salisbury, has been open seven days a week.

It has provided assistance to vulnerable people during the COVID-19 situation. Its opening times were reduced to six days a week at the beginning of June.

Wiltshire Council is cutting the opening times and days of hub which was set-up to support people during COVID-19 situation.

However, its opening times are being changed to reflect a reduction in emails and calls to its hotline. The Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub will now operate from 9-5pm Monday to Friday and will be closed at weekends.
The Hub continues to be available to anyone who is struggling during this difficult time, such as people who are shielding or self-isolating and don't have a support network around them or know where to get help.

Wiltshire Council's team can help provide support but also signpost them to where additional help is available in their local area - with hundreds of community groups set-up across the county providing invaluable assistance.
Cllr Laura Mayes, Cabinet member for Adult Social Care, Public Health and Public Protection said:

"The Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub has proved to be a vital resource in helping vulnerable residents throughout this situation."

"However we have noticed a drop in calls and emails recently so this is the right time to move to opening the hub from Monday to Friday only. We will be here throughout the week so if there is anyone out there who feels isolated, unable to leave their home to get food or medicine or just need some additional help we will be available to provide that support."
