A crew from Salisbury was called out this morning (Monday 29th June) after reports that a child has become stuck between a garden wall and a school building.

Firefighters were sent to High Road in Britford just after 11.00am today.

They found the child stuck between to walls and used what's described as 'small gear' - the sorts of items you'd find in a standard household toolbox to help them out.

The incident happened close to the Longford Primary School

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue tell us the child was rescued safely and they didn't need any further medical attention.

They left the scene within an hour.
