The sites owned by the city council will have some guidelines in place they are asking us to follow.

From Saturday (4th July) the play areas at Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Churchill Gardens and Victoria Park will reopen.

They have been shut since March due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The parks will be sanitised once a week on a Monday morning, with many other measures in place.

Due to social distancing guidelines put in place by the government, we are asked not to enter if it cannot be maintained and only one family member can accompany a child.

While using the play areas and sports equipment, they are also asking us to do the following:

  • During busy periods it’s recommended that people visit for no longer than 20 minutes
  • Please do not eat food in the play area or on any equipment
  • Please dispose of any PPE and litter in a bin or take it home with you
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Please leave the equipment clean for the next person

Equipment should be cleaned before the next person uses it

Salisbury City Council say we should be aware that we are using this equipment at our own risk
