COVID-19: Four more deaths in Wiltshire care homes

The latest figures have been released by the Office for National Statistics.

The data published today shows the breakdown of coronavirus deaths by local authority for care homes up until the 19th of June..

The latest weekly stats show a further 4 people have died with Covid-19 in the Wiltshire Council area, bringing the total to 200, 

For the third week in a row no further deaths were recorded in Swindon Borough so the figure remains at 69

It means the total for Wiltshire as a county now stands at 269.

Across the county 27 people have died in their home and three people have passed away in hospices with the virus.

No locations of care homes or hospices have been released.


In Hampshire the total number of people that have died in care homes with Covid-19 in the nearest local authorities are. 

  • New Forest District Council - 65 
  • Test Valley Borough Council -66
