An 18 year old was left with bruising to his face following an altercation - but police need help to gather witnesses.

This happened in Holders Field between 4.45 and 5.00pm last Friday evening (26th June).

While officers were at the scene, they also had to deal with a separate medical incident.

That meant police weren't able to take any witness details immediately, so they're now asking for our help to come forward if we saw the initial altercation.

Police believe there would have been people in the area at the time that might be able to help.

They're particularly keen to speak to a male dog walker, who's it's thought stopped at the scene.

If you can help officers with any information, you can contact them on 101, quoting crime reference number 54200061601.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
