A crowdfunder’s been launched in memory of Kristian Greer, who died last Wednesday (1st July).

A number of tributes have been left out for Kristian in the multi-use games area in the park next to Old Sarum Primary School.

The 28 year old, who served in the army, was found there early last Wednesday morning – with Wiltshire Police confirming there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

The tributes to Kristian are expected to be left up for another week, before being given to his family.

Now, his friends are looking to help remember the 28 year old in a more permanent way and have set up a GoFundMe page  to help his family set up a charitable cause in his name.

Kristian's mum wants to raise awareness about mental health issues.

Donations have already reached more than £4,500, with the Old Sarum community rallying round in support, to raise nearly five times their original target.

You can still support the fund through the online crowdfunding page.

Meanwhile another separate fundraiser has been set up to create a permanent memorial to Kristian in the park.

The aim is to buy a memorial bench.
