As part of their desert trek to Petra next April, the 49 trekkers have to raise £1650 for the charity.

As the Covid-19 pandemic has led to many of their events being cancelled, some of the walkers are finding new ways to fundraise.

Things like bingo evenings and garden parties have been replaced by travel quizzes and auctions

As they are currently training for the challenge, many are hard at work coming up with new creative ways to push them towards their target.

In May, Lynne Rose from West Grimstead set up a travel quiz full of photos from the trekkers' other journeys.

People were able to enter for a small fee and have to guess the location of the photo, with £100 given to the winner.

They were able to raise over £1,000
