The property on the outskirts of the village was targeted on Saturday night while the occupants were away.

Investigations so far reveal the house in Bundy Grove was broken into between 11pm and midnight on the 11th July.

Police say the offenders caused significant damage to the back door and then carried out a messy search inside the address.

They made off with a number of watches.

Officers think the offenders left in the direction of Ringwood on the A338.
