COVID-19: Latest stats show only one more death at Wiltshire care homes

The data from the Office for National Statistics also reveals there have been NO new coronavirus related deaths at care homes in the New Forest or Test Valley.

The data published today shows the breakdown of coronavirus deaths by local authority for care homes up until the 17th of July.

The latest weekly stats reveals one person has died with Covid-19 in the Wiltshire Council area, bringing the total to 205.

Meanwhile, no new deaths have been recorded at care homes in the Swindon Borough region.

It means the total for Wiltshire as a county now stands at 275.

The number of people who have died in their home remains at 27 and there's been no increase in deaths at hospices, that figure remains at 3.

No locations of care homes or hospices have been released.

There have been no further deaths in care homes from Covid-19 for our two nearest local authorities:

  • New Forest District Council - 66 
  • Test Valley Borough Council - 66
