Money stolen from charity box at Langford Lakes

Thieves have targeted a cash box at the nature reserve managed by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.

Staff noticed the box had been damaged when they arrived on Monday morning (27th July), discovering that cash had been taken from inside.

The donation box is important on the site, as it brings in financial support for the Trust.

The money donated goes towards the upkeep of the nature reserve near Stapleford, and others across Wiltshire.

The amount taken from the donation box isn't known at this stage.

Wiltshire Police is investigating the theft and is asking any witnesses to come forward.
