Ancient creatures will be taking over at one of their family race days soon.

The Dino Day will be at Salisbury Races on Sunday 3rd May, giving racegoers young and old an opportunity to get up close and personal with some magnificent beasts!

We're told to expect 'lots of dinosaur magic - and maybe a little mischief'!

There'll be dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes coming along to Salisbury Races this May!

There's a whole host of dinos that will be coming to Salisbury Racecourse, including:

  • Tiny the huge Triceratops - he's described as 'a gentle giant', measuring 5.5 metres long! He loves a game of follow-my-leader with little people starting a trail behind his tail
  • Dexter is a 2-year old T.rex and already 4.5 metres long! He's got a 'cheeky but affectionate nature'
  • New additions Baxter & Roxy will also be there
  • Seven Dino Babies already go out on visits, with five more arriving this year

We're also encouraged to take part in 'Feeding Times' with the dinosaurs - but BE WARNED, they have very poor table manners, so it's expected to be pretty chaotic, but funny too!

There'll also be plenty of chances to have photos with the dinos throughout the day.

Tiny the Triceratops will be among the 'animals' we can meet at the family race day

There'll be a number of races during the meeting on Sunday 3rd May.

That will include the famous 'City Bowl', which is one of the oldest races staged anywhere in the UK, over 1 mile and 6 furlongs.
