The World War One epic, directed by Sam Mendes, is due out early next year.

Universal Pictures have given us a first glimpse of the movie, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Dean-Charles Chapman and George McKay.

Bodyguard star Richard Madden, and British acting legends Colin Firth and Mark Strong also feature.

Here's the trailer:

The trailer shows two young soldiers they must cross enemy territory to deliver a vital message.

It's out in December in the US, but released in the UK on January 10th 2020.

Ahead of filming for the movie, which is co-produced by Steven Spielberg, a planning application was put in to build a 'French farm' to be used as a film set.

That was approved to go in between Upavon and Enford.

It's believed many of the cast and crew stayed in hotels in Amesbury while the filming took place this Spring.

The movie also featured hundreds of extras from the local area.

Casting sessions were held at Salisbury City Hall earlier this year to find young men to feature in the film.
