This weekend is all about local footy (Sat 12 Nov). Salisbury FC and the other teams are all in action. #ProperLocalSport

There's no rugby this weekend (Saturday November 12th) due to it being a reserve week, so the focus is entirely on the football.

Salisbury FC will look to continue their unbeaten home record in the league this season as they host Tiverton at the Ray Mac.

The Whites, who currently sit seven points off the play-offs with a game in hand, are just one of three teams with unbeaten home records and can move up to seventh with a victory.

Tom Whelan, Kane O'Keefe and Calum Brockway all sat out training after picking up knocks on Tuesday night, all three will be assessed ahead of today's match.

Mahlando Martin has left the club after joining on a non-contract basis.

Brandon Mundy and Claudio Herbert continue to miss out along with long term absentees Callum Hart and Danny Young.

Director of Football Mick Jenkins told Spire FM:

"The league isn't won this time of year but approaching the Christmas period we want to build up a good run of form. We see ourselves fighting to get amongst the play-off places. Our home form has been impressive, we hope to have one or two back so we're looking forward to the game.

"It'll be tough as they're a strong outfit but we'll play good football like we always do and hopefully pick up the three points."
