They slipped out of the second qualifying round after a 2-0 defeat to Poole Town.

It was a disappointing result for Salisbury FC at the Ray Mac yesterday.

The Whites slipped out of the FA Cup  after being defeated 2-0 by visitors Poole Town.

The hotly contested game saw chances from Elliot Wheeler and Marvin Brooks.

The sides next game is at home to Cirencester Town in a league match on Tuesday.


Downton were beaten 3-0 by Romsey.

Laverstock and Ford remained at the top of Sydenhams Division 1 following their victory on the road to Hythe

Managers McConnell & Lakeman said

 "Another away win, and the first time we have won here in the 3 seasons, so that's very pleasing. There were things we know we can do a lot better and certainly taking the chances we create for ourselves would make things easier. We've had a good response since exiting the Vase last week, winning on penalties in midweek and another 3 points is an ideal tonic. Just got to keep it up. "

Amesbury Town defeated Fareham Town 2-1.

While Bemerton Heath Harlequins lost 4-2 to Newport.
