The Whites came back from behind to triumph over the top of the league side on a cold Tuesday night in January.

Last night (29th January) Salisbury FC claimed three big points against the league leaders.

Taunton Town are now just five points clear but the Whites, who sit in fourth, have two games in hand over them.

It didn't look like Salisbury would be the ones to come out on top at the start of the first half.

The away side at the Ray Mac scored within 11 minutes and looked dominant in yellow.

The Whites pulled one back after half an hour but stayed on the back foot.

Eight minutes in to the second half, Taunton put themselves ahead again from a direct free kick.

Then started the beginning of the cards for the game.

By the end of 90 minutes, 6 yellows and 2 reds had been handed out.

Salisbury equalised in the 75th minute after Taunton went down to 10 men.

In the 84th minute, the away side another shocker and lost another player to a red card.

With five minutes added time and a dominant Salisbury, the Whites pushed forward and got a late winner after being behind for the majority of the game.

Final score - Salisbury 3 - 2 Taunton Town.

With several games called off due the freezing weather, Downton has one of the only ones that went ahead.

They welcomed Andover Town to the Brian Whitehead Sports Ground.

The Robins scored twice in the second half, winning 2-0.
