New signings for Salisbury FC

The Whites have announced four more new players will be joining them for the next season.

Striker Harry Baker has joined Salisbury from local rivals Poole Town, while central defender Samuel Roberts and attacking midfielder Charlie Davis both make the move from Gosport Borough, and midfielder Antonio Diaz arrives from Wimborne Town.

Salisbury FC has also confirmed some players from last season have re-signed - they are Marcus Beauchamp, Lewis Benson, Darren Mullings, Warren Bentley and Ollie Knowles.

Talks are ongoing with others.

With one exception, formal FA confirmation is awaited for all signings, but the club says "no problems are anticipated with these".



  • Striker
  • 26 years old
  • Having started his career at Western League Gillingham Town he signed for Weymouth after appearing in a Dorset Senior Cup Final against them.
  • Baker made 32 appearances for the Dolphins, finding the net 14 times
  • He was in the Poole Town side beaten 2-1 at the Ray Mac in December 2019.


  • Central defender
  • 24 years old
  • Started his career at AFC Totton before moving to Winchester City and subsequently Gosport.
  • Roberts helped Boro's survival in the Southern Premier League last season.


  • Attacking midfielder 
  • 25 yers old
  • As well as Gosport he also played for Dorchester Town last season, making over 50 appearances and scoring 12 goals. 
  • Davis is an experienced player having had spells at AFC Bournemouth, Poole Town, Weymouth, and Spanish side Cadiz.


  • Midfielder
  • 20 years old
  • Another former Dorchester Town player, who also started his career at AFC Bournemouth. 
  • Diaz was a previous transfer target for the Whites when at Dorchester.
