10 things to do in Salisbury this Easter weekend

It promises to be a busy Easter weekend in Salisbury, so here are 10 things you can do in our beautiful city - including Easter egg hunts, live music and breakfast with the Easter Bunny!  

PLUS don't forget all Wiltshire Council car parks are free in Salisbury until further notice. and parking is also free at Old George Mall! 

1) Easter Bunny Hunt - Salisbury

Hidden around many of your favourite businesses in Salisbury are 30 Easter Bunnies.

Download an entry form and keep your eyes peeled for 10 of the Easter Bunnies in businesses around Salisbury - they may even have a chocolate treat for intrepid bunny hunters!

Once you've completed your entry form, hand it in to one of the participating businesses to be in with a chance of winning a 2ft high chocolate bunny.

2) River Bourne Community Farm Easter Egg Hunt

Pick up your egg hunt form and go hunting for 10 Easter egg pictures hidden around the River Bourne Community Farm - find them all and collect a prize!

3) Salisbury Live Fundraiser

The last Salisbury Live fundraiser before the big event promises to be a real corker!

Five of the region's favourite acts will come together for the Salisbury Live cause.

Featuring sets from Barely Legal, The Passenger Club, Break Cover, The Funk Bunnies and Just Because.

When: Friday March 30th from 5.30pm

4) Win an Easter Bunny worth £150!

To help raise money for Stars Appeal, Salisbury District Hospital’s Charity, Cross Keys are giving you the chance to win a JellyCat Bunny worth £150.

Pick a name from the list to be in with a chance of winning.  Entries cost £1 each.

There will also be FREE face painting at Cross Keys on Saturday 31 March from 10am – 3pm.

5) Ben & Holly at Old George Mall, Salisbury 

Ben and Holly are coming to see their friends in Salisbury this Good Friday, 30th March, to celebrate Easter!

Ben Elf and Princess Holly will be appearing during story time sessions, led by a narrator, at intervals between 11am and 4pm.

The activity is free and everyone will go away with a goodie bag (whilst stocks last).

6) Family Fun and Easter Egg Hunt

Come and join in the Easter Egg Hunt for family fun, chocolate, bouncy castle, magician, games, drumming, pop corn and candy floss!

£5 per child - parents go free.

Raising funds for the Happy Spuds charity, increasing awareness of positive mental wellbeing for all children.

7) Easter Trail at The Salisbury Museum

There will be an eggy-tastic Easter Trail running throughout the school holidays at the museum. Come and follow the clues, find the answers and win a chocolate Easter egg!

8) Easter on the Farm

9) Imber Village Easter Egg Hunt 

Ok, so not technically in Salisbury, but a rare opportunity to see the village.  

St Giles Church on Salisbury Plain will be open to visitors. Go to www.imberchurch.org.uk for opening times and to learn about the Easter Egg Hunt for the Children on Easter Sunday.

10) Downton Easter Egg Hunt 

There are 4,000 eggs to found at the Sunken Lawn in Downton on Monday.

Entry is £2.50 per child to include refreshments. The X3 bus from Salisbury stops at Downton.
